Reason #1 Its made from the freshest of fruits

Not only do they make some of the most exotic jams and jellies, but the chunks of real fruits in it adds to the joy of eating.

Reason #2 Its preservative free

211 and 223 are the most common preservatives used in jams and related food items. 211/ E211 is basically sodium benzoate which is used to avoid microbial growth and spoilage of food products. Studies have shown that this ingredient cuts down the oxygen supply to the mitochondria of the healthy cells and thereby kills them which leads to cancer.

223/ E223, on the other hand, is sodium metabisulphite. It is both a preservative as well as a bleaching agent. It reacts with the acid present in the stomach and releases sulfurous acid. This in turn affects the gastro-intestinal system in a negative manner and leads to abdominal pains, depression in the central nervous system, diarrhea, vomiting and nausea.

As Bhuira jams are free of these chemicals and preservatives, you can stay assured that the slice of bread you are having is not loaded with carcinogenic chemicals.

Reason #3 No synthetic food colors

One of the most commonly used synthetic food color is 122, aka Azorubine, Carmoisine. These colors are derived from coal tar and can cause allergic reactions especially in people who are intolerant to aspirin. This food color also has harmful effects on those suffering from asthma.

Bhuira products are made from 100% natural ingredients, without the help of any synthetic food colors and thus are safe to consume on a daily basis.

Reason #4 No addition of antimony

Antimony is silvery white semi-metal used in electronic products, medicines and also food products like squash, fruit juices and crushes. Research has shown link between antimony and cancer, liver & heart diseases. When used in excess, it can also lead to nausea and vomiting. Many crushes available in the market have antimony as its active ingredient, the long exposure to which is sure to affect one’s health in a negative manner.

Being hand-made and chemical free, Bhuira crushes do not have antimony and are thus safe to consume on a regular basis.
